I realized a long time ago that I don't just sell houses, I sell neighborhoods. It's a good thing that I love my neighborhood! Here is some video footage that was shot on a lovely Spring day this year of the Mount Vernon Cultural District in Baltimore City. It is home to the Baltimore Opera Company, The Baltimore Symphony, The Peabody Conservatory, Walters Art Gallery, Center Stage and many more wonderful arts organizations, not to mention a ton of fabulous restaurants. I hope to get some more little video tours of my favorite place up and running soon!

Nice video...looks like a great place with a lot of culture. I have been wanting to do this same thing in my area, but it seems like I never get it done!
Brendan, Thanks for the post. It seems we all take for granted what our own neighborhoods have to offer...One of my friends e-mailed me the other day and told me that she and her family took a "staycation" this year and just visited the museums, local diners, libraries, parks, and other points of interest her town offers. She said her kids absolutely loved it. She saved money on gas too!
Rebecca,
Thanks for the comment. Truly, the "greenest" thing you can do is live in a pedestrian friendly neighborhood! We're also so fortunate here in Baltimore that we are a short train ride to DC, so if you exhaust all of the things to do in Baltimore (no small feat!) then DC is right down the road!
Congratulations!! You must be proud of your local hero - The Amazing Michael Phelps.
